With the development of electric vehicles and automobiless, and the rural market tends to saturate, there exists none short supply. Loncin, the old brand in motorcycle, sink the heart to do sports products these years, seems to have firm confidence in playing a subordinate role in locomotive field.
In 1998, LONCIN produced the first motorcycle. At present, locomotive, with LONCIN logo, has been sold to more than 100 countries and regions. LONCIN’s motorcycle sport culture can be traced back. As early as in 2000, LONCIN motor successfully passed through “the sea of death ---the Taklimakan Desert", set three Guinness world records; "LONCIN football team" sponsored by LONCIN won “the Chinese FA Cup" champion at the same year; LONCIN launched the activity “passing from Shanghai to Hoh Xil, then to Beijing” in 2002; the Olympic champion Liu Xiang advertised for LONCIN magnesium alloy motorcycle in 2004; LONCIN challenged MotoGP officially as China’s first original produced motor in 2008; a lot of motorcycle trip activities like "a road to the South" raised upsurge in 2013. These footprints are epitome in the history of LONCIN’s sports culture, which converge into a magnificent picture, setting a solid foundation for making a leading brand in Chinese locomotives.
In recent years, LONCIN has been working to build a locomotive system for its products. From the product reserve, LONCIN launched several products showing the motion characteristics. In addition, LONCIN has the products like sports cars PR51, LX300, LX500 and other large curved beam moving locomotive. Referring to the technical reserves, Zhou Xianlong, the technical center director stated:"LONCIN sports locomotive has matured. We took 2 years to build up the locomotive vehicle design platform, which can overcome the complicate states, and long period, and at the same time to reduce cost, and improve the quality. Moreover, LONCIN will also combine CAE technology and design to produce locomotives more skillfully.”
At present, LONCIN is well-equipped. Besides non-polar (LX650), the products also include road cars, streetcars, off-road vehicles, sports cars, curved beam moving locomotive and scooters etc.. Several locomotives exhibited on the Motorcycle Expo are also the model of LONCIN's upcoming products.
